Dr. Robert McClees moved to New Mexico to attend St. John’s College where he earned a Bachelor’s degree and a Master’s degree. Further studies include a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Biology from the University of New Mexico. He received his Medical Degree from UNM School of Medicine and completed his internship in Internal Medicine and Residency training in Family Medicine at the University New Mexico School of Medicine. He is Board Certified in Family Medicine. Dr. McClees additionally volunteers as the Medical Director of the Pajarito Mountain Ski Patrol.

Edward Grant has been practicing medicine since 1994 and holds several advanced degrees. He graduated from Hampshire College with a bachelor’s degree in Asian Philosophy and Economic Development in 1985. This was followed by a master’s degree from St. John’s College in Western Literature in 1986. Ed entered acupuncture school in 1992, studying Japanese Meridian Therapy at the Inochi Institute in Santa Fe. During this time he worked for the Santa Fe Fire/EMS Department and Santa Fe Ski Basin ski patrol. Ed completed his acupuncture studies in 1995 and then developed a general private practice with a multi-cultural patient base, where he treated a diverse scope of pathologies. He continued his medical training in the University of New Mexico Physician Assistant program, graduating in 2000. He presently works for the hospital based in Santa Fe as a P.A-C and D.O.M.
At the hospital, Ed divides his time between primary care and urgent care. He has served as chief of staff and vice chief of staff for several years, having been voted into both positions by his colleagues. He developed the Pain Clinic protocols for the Santa Fe Service Unit and is a voting member of the Pharmaceutical and Therapeutics committee. In addition, Ed has worked at Isis Medicine since 2002 and has been both assistant professor of clinical medicine at the UNM School of Medicine and associate professor of Oriental medicine at Southwest Acupuncture College. One of his professional goals is to find a balance between Eastern and Western medicine, integrating both modalities to maximize patient care.
